We grew up in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, about an hour north of Pittsburgh, and we've been building things since before we were allowed to use the good tools. Family rumor says a great-grandfather was a real craftsman. Nobody has the paperwork — just two brothers who see the finished piece before they see the drawing, and can't fully explain why.
One of us builds in Raleigh now. The other stayed close to home. The same mark goes on the underside of everything either of us finishes.
